EOTD with Givenchy Le Prism Eyeshadow Quad,#74 Khaki

A couple of months ago, I did a review on Givenchy's Le Prism Quad in Khaki. I'm still loving it, and I've been amazed at how versatile it is. The vibrant greens and yellows offer a wonderful, colorful eye, while the bronze lid/crease accent color can be used to tone things down a bit for a more neutral eye. That's the direction I went with today's Eye of the Day.

I had a really hard time accurately catching the true colors in the quad on film. The above picture is too yellow, so I took a few more shots (this time, of my well-mauled quad) so you could see it a little more accurately.

Here's one with flash:

And one outside without flash:
As you can see, it's a yellow-based green palette with one slightly pink, bronze-y color for contrast. It's the bronze that really makes the quad, despite it not being the most beautiful color in the grouping. Because of the bronze, the quad affords more than just a dramatic green eye. It allows for neutralization of all the color, making it perfectly suitable for daytime or the office...yet the greens add some punch to liven things up.

For today's EOTD, I used the lighter green (upper right) across the mobile lid, followed by the bronze all along the crease. I highlighted under the brows and all the way into the inner corner of the eye with the vibrant yellow, and lined with the deep forest green. I managed to get all four colors packed onto my lids while still achieving a relatively neutral eye.

Here are some shots:

Finally, to finish my face I used Chanel's Meteore Glossimer:

All in all, Le Prism Khaki sets off my eyes and adds some color to my face while still managing to stay relatively neutral and work-friendly. Love it!

I love this colors. I have never bought any Givenchy products ( I am a DIOR & CHANEL man) Are the colors really worth the price??? I have my eye on a quad ( smokey eye) but I do not want to drop $57 dollars without doing my homework

@giovanny_lovesmakeup...the Le Prism shadows are great, in my opinion. They definitely are pricey, but you get a good bit of shadow, the colors are absolutely gorgeous (and stay true on the skin) and they last all day, especially over primer!
