Skin Care Review: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate

I'm a recent convert to Kiehl's skin care, and it's been doing wonders for my skin. I'm loving the amazing Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, a super-powerful Vitamin-C based antioxidant serum, as well as the fabulous Abyssine Cream for day. While I start my skin care each morning and evening with the PSLRC and during the day follow with the Abyssine Cream, at night I need a bit more. That's where Midnight Recovery Concentrate comes in. 

Midnight Recovery Complex is an oil-based serum rich in Evening Primrose Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, and squalene to help soothe and replenish the skin as you sleep. It's lightweight and sinks in quickly. It's also very concentrated and only takes a few drops, warmed between the fingers and pressed into the skin. The smell is divine...although the web site doesn't name the other essential oils, it smells as if it has more than just lavender in it. The fragrance is a natural, earthy floral, and it's positively blissful to apply. 

Since I've been using Midnight Recovery Concentrate, my skin has begun rebounding from stress more quickly. I haven't been getting the "flushes" that my skin is prone to, it feels more comfortable throughout the day without getting tight and dry by late afternoon, and I have no more flakies. What's not to love? 

Bottom Line: Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a great addition to your skin care regimen, especially if you tend toward normal, normal/dry, or dry skin or if you have sensitivities. It's calmed and replenished my skin and I now how less sensitivity reactions than I used to. It can be used alone over the Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate or layered with another night cream (I've been using Rosa Arctica, which I'll be reviewing soon). Highly recommend.
