Get the Glow: Guerlain Meteorites Perles Review

I've heard about Guerlain's Meteorites Perles forever. They are illuminating spheres which, when used together, cancel out coloration problems and give a soft glow to the skin. For whatever reason, I've never tried them. For a long time I didn't have any uneven color issues, so they seemed unnecessary. However, in recent years that's changed, so ostensibly I should have tried them a long time ago, but I never got around to it. Now that I finally have, I can't believe I missed out on them for so long.

The first thing you might notice about Meteorites is the packaging. They're housed in a beautiful silver container embellished with a floral pattern on top in shades of cream and the palest pink.

It's definitely something you can put out on your vanity.

Inside the silver box, you'll find a collection of gorgeous, pearly orbs in various colors; included in the Teint Rose are white, pink, yellow, peach, and purple. All of these colors together are supposed to work to correct any discoloration you may have. I didn't buy into this theory at first, figuring that the variety of colors would cancel one another out, but that isn't the case.

A light dusting of Meteorites will even your complexion and leave you with a luminous glow. Note that I did not say shimmer. This is a very refined, subtle glow that gives a candlelit effect to the skin. It's truly gorgeous.

Another aspect of Meteorites that I appreciate is the fact that they are in no way drying. I wore the powder all day without feeling any dryness or tightness, yet I didn't have shine at the end of the day. My face looked just as polished at 4:00 as it did when I walked out the door at 6:30.

Bottom Line: I'm so glad I tried Meteorites. These pearls have more than lived up to my expectations, delivering perfectly on all the claims and expectations. My only regret is that I didn't try them sooner.

I have seen these on numerous blogs and have avoided them because I always thought that they would be too shimmery or even glittery for me. You have convinced me that I now need these in my life and I will be purchasing these if they are available in duty free next month. Love the packaging, they look like sugared almonds in the tin :) Jude xx @jadlgw
